Ελένη Παπατζίκου

Dr. Eleni Papatzikou is Rural and Surveying Engineer and Transportation Engineer, holding an MSc in Transport Planning from the University of Leeds (UK) and a PhD from the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She has over 20 years of professional experience in transport planning and policy, traffic and mobility analysis, strategic transport planning, and sustainable urban mobility projects in Greece and internationally. Her work focuses on urban mobility transformation, public transport systems, travel demand forecasting, transport modelling, and traffic management, with particular emphasis on the integration of electromobility, charging infrastructure, and innovative mobility schemes into urban transport systems. She has participated in large-scale projects in collaboration with public authorities and international organizations and has served as a research associate at NTUA. She is currently Executive Secretary of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers.
